Dental Services

How is care provided? 

Evergreen Mobile Dental provides onsite comprehensive dental care at your long-term care residential communities. We have specialized portable equipment, including digital x-rays, designed to provide comprehensive dental care where the patient resides. Our team is dementia-certified and well-experienced in treating elders at long-term care residential facilities.  

Patient comfort and safety are very important to us. We provide bedside/wheelchair care and compared to traditional dental offices, we spend much longer time with our patients to ensure patient comfort and safety. Lastly, for continuity of care, patients will see the same dental team every time.   

 

Where do you visit? 

At Evergreen Mobile Dental, we understand it can be difficult for residents of long-term care residential communities to visit a traditional dental clinic. To solve this problem, we visit various types of long-term care residential facilities to provide comprehensive dental care. This includes, but not limited to Assisted Living facilities, Memory Care facilities, Adult Family Homes, senior living communities, retirement communities, continuing care retirement communities.

We serve King County Washington and surrounding areas including Seattle, Bellevue, Issaquah, Kirkland, Sammamish, Redmond, Renton, Kent, Bothell, Auburn, Mercer Island, Tukwila, and more. 

 

How do I schedule an appointment? 

Please call us at (425) 832-0133 or fill out our Request an Appointment form below to get started. New patient forms will be emailed, and upon completion, we will work with you and the patient’s community to schedule the appointment. We are happy to accommodate preferences for morning or afternoon appointments. Paper forms are also available at any of our partner communities. We place an emphasis on communication so that the responsible parties are well aware of dental services, treatment, and fees associated with the services prior to scheduling any appointments. 

What types of dental services do you provide? 

Evergreen Mobile Dental offers comprehensive dental care including exams, digital x-rays, gum exams, cleanings, treatments to help arrest cavities, cavity-resistant dental fillings, dentures, dental extraction depending on patient’s medical history/the case.  If there are any dental services that we cannot perform safely in a mobile setting, then a referral will be provided to visit a traditional dental clinic.  Please call or email us with any specific treatment questions.

What dental services does Evergreen Mobile Dental provide on the first visit? 

New patient visit typically consists of the following: comprehensive new patient exam, full mouth x-ray (low-dose radiation), intra oral photos, oral cancer screening, gum exam, basic dental cleaning, and fluoride treatment. Other treatments can also be provided, depending on patient's diagnosis.  

 

Do you provide care for patients who cannot get out of bed? 

Yes, we frequently provide bedside care and care for patients in wheelchairs. 

 

Do you provide care for patients with Dementia/Alzheimer? 

Yes, we provide dental care for patients with memory care concerns. Our doctor is a Certified Dementia Practitioner with the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners (NCCDP). 

 

Insurance and Payment 

Do you accept insurance? 

Evergreen Mobile Dental is a non-traditional mobile dental office. Due to this nature, we are an Out-of-Network provider and require full payment at the time of service. We encourage you to confirm with your insurance provider whether Out-of-Network coverage is accepted. As a courtesy, we will gladly submit insurance claims on the patient’s behalf for potential reimbursement from your insurance provider. Please contact us with any questions. 

 

How are payments made? 

Payment can be made via credit card or personal checks at the time of service.  

 

What are the fees? 

Fees are provided with the new patient enrollment forms. All fees are thoroughly communicated to responsible parties prior to any visit or treatment.  

 

Long-term care residential facilities 

What type of benefits are there for long-term care residential facilities and their staff? 

Evergreen Mobile Dental considers long-term care residential facilities our partners and always coordinates care with the facility team and collaborates to provide comprehensive, safe dental care for the patients. 

  • Complimentary oral hygiene training – We can provide training for your staff and provide guidance and advice regarding dental care. 

  • No fees for your community – There are no initiation or setup fees 

  • No extra work – Evergreen Mobile Dental takes care of all communication with patient and responsible parties and billing.
